As an Internal Communications Intern at Belmond Peru, the intern supports the promotion and strengthening of organizational culture through employee recognition and relevant company communications. Responsibilities span internal content and intranet coordination, communication materials and campaigns, employee-experience projects, events, metrics, and Human Resources administration. The role is an internship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the planning, creation, and distribution of content across internal communication channels, including coordinating posts on the corporate intranet.
- Design and update internal communication assets and institutional materials for Human Resources, ensuring alignment with the company’s visual identity.
- Help develop and implement internal communication campaigns and initiatives that strengthen culture, values, recognition, employee wellbeing, and engagement.
- Contribute to projects that improve the employee experience by identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing innovative ideas.
- Track the delivery of internal communication activities, ensuring content is updated promptly and supporting measurement of their impact.
- Support the organization and delivery of events, institutional campaigns, team-building activities, and initiatives related to organizational culture and climate.
- Collect and analyze internal communication metrics, preparing reports to assess results and propose improvements.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a degree program in Communication Sciences, Marketing, Design, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of Canva; Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Photoshop are ideally also required.
- Excellent writing and spelling, creativity, initiative, and organizational skills.
- At least 3 months of work experience.
