Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee guest and employee laundry service quality, room and public-area inspections, daily floor operations, team support, and linen and inventory management. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the role is seasonal under C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo, Level 3, from March 2027 to November 2027, with the aim of continued collaboration in subsequent seasons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Inspect arriving, occupied, and departing guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with LQA standards and brand operating procedures.
- Monitor daily cleaning progress and coordinate the floor team to meet room release times, prioritizing VIP arrivals.
- Communicate with the Front Office about room status and with Maintenance (Engineering) to report and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Work alongside operational staff, providing orientation, on-the-job training, and ongoing support to sustain motivation, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Monitor the management and rotation of linen, uniforms, and amenities; participate in periodic inventories and track stock levels.
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of previous experience in a similar role, such as Supervisor or Senior Room Attendant, in a 5-star luxury hotel or resort.
- In-depth knowledge of international luxury standards and familiarity with Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) evaluation criteria.
- Excellent knowledge of Italian and English; a second foreign language is an advantage.
- Extraordinary attention to detail and a keen sense of aesthetics.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Empathetic leadership, communication skills, and a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility and availability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, in line with the property's seasonality.
