Castello di Casole, a Belmond Hotel, seeks a Housekeeping Porter to support daily Housekeeping and Laundry operations, including linen transport, guest deliveries, storage upkeep, and assistance to Room Attendants. This seasonal role is covered by CCNL Turismo Federalberghi.
Role & Responsibilities
- Transport clean and soiled linens, towels, and uniforms between guest floors, laundry facilities, and storage areas.
- Deliver heavy items, guest requests such as extra pillows and ironing boards, and luggage to guest rooms as directed.
- Keep floor pantries, linen closets, and housekeeping storage corridors clean, stocked, and organized.
- Assist Room Attendants with moving heavy furniture, turning mattresses, and hanging curtains.
- Collect and dispose of waste, recyclable materials, and dirty linens from room carts.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a porter, linen, or support role within hospitality is advantageous.
- Physical strength, efficiency, and a proactive work ethic.
- Strong team spirit and readiness to assist colleagues.
- Respect for guest privacy and a polite attitude.
- Basic Italian or English language skills.
