The Housekeeping Attendant at Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel, cleans guest rooms and bathrooms, maintains linen supplies and property hygiene, cares for cleaning equipment, and supports other housekeeping areas as needed. The role is seasonal.
Role & Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and bathrooms according to departmental standards.
- Stock the linen trolley with the correct linen and guest supplies, and keep the trolley and linen storeroom neat and tidy.
- Maintain hygiene standards throughout the property by regularly cleaning and sanitising all touch points.
- Use and care for cleaning equipment properly.
- Assist in other areas of the Housekeeping Department as required.
Qualifications
- Experience providing exceptional guest service and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly and attentive demeanour, with the ability to answer questions.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with good knowledge of stain treatments, industrial cleaning equipment and products.
