Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, is seeking a Hotel Porter for the 2027 season to welcome and assist guests, maintain the external reception area, coordinate with Housekeeping and respond to emergency requests. This seasonal role runs from March to November 2027 under the C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo, Level 5 (Porter), with the aim of continued collaboration in subsequent seasons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and bid them farewell in line with company policies, standards and procedures, maintaining high standards at all times.
- Keep the external reception area orderly and well maintained.
- Stay informed about guest arrivals, departures and in-house guests.
- Work closely with the Housekeeping team and provide assistance when needed.
- Handle emergency requests when directed by a Supervisor.
- Maintain professional relationships with guests and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Communicate clearly and appropriately, both verbally and non-verbally.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and emotions of guests and colleagues, adapting communication style accordingly.
- Recognize when a different approach is needed and offer solutions; be willing to adopt new ways of working.
- Work collaboratively as a team player, sharing information and skills and actively seeking and providing feedback.
- Fluent in Italian and basic English.
- Previous professional experience in a similar role, including school internships.
