The Culinary Intern at Copacabana Palace, A Belmond Hotel, supports kitchen operations by preparing menus and accompaniments, organizing mise en place, storing ingredients, and maintaining kitchen hygiene and organization. This internship offers a monthly stipend of R$950 and shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of menus and accompaniments under the chefs’ guidance.
- Organize mise en place and prepare the service environment.
- Label and store ingredients in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain kitchen and stockroom organization, applying good hygiene and food utilization practices.
- Contribute to cleaning utensils and equipment to ensure excellence standards.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a higher education degree in Gastronomy.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Availability to intern from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
