The Food and Beverage Supervisor at Mount Nelson oversees bar operations, supports team hiring and development, and ensures service quality, cost efficiency and guest satisfaction. This is a fixed-term contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and supervising the team.
- Ensure the highest standards of service excellence and quality in the Food and Beverage department.
- Oversee the bar’s day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, seating arrangements and coordinating timely food preparation with kitchen staff.
- Assist in managing Food and Beverage departments as required.
- Implement systems and procedures to improve cost efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience providing exceptional customer service, handling Food and Beverages, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good Food and Beverage product knowledge.
- Friendly and attentive demeanour, with the ability to answer questions, provide recommendations and ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.
