At Miraflores Park, a Belmond Hotel, Lima, the Food and Beverage Server delivers food and beverages to guest rooms while meeting Belmond’s LQA standards and providing personalised service. Responsibilities also include restaurant service, coordinating service stations, and maintaining clean, organised service areas.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and clients warmly as they enter the restaurant.
- Present menu options, demonstrate knowledge of the menu, and take orders.
- Ensure plates are hot, clean, and uniform.
- Monitor service by removing dirty or unused utensils, offering replacements as needed, and changing guests’ glasses and cups as often as necessary.
- Promptly replenish bread baskets and remove empty baskets.
- Keep essentials such as lemon, ají, Tabasco, and olive oil readily available for prompt service.
- Keep tables, the service area, and the tray-change station organised, making it easy for the collection team to clear items.
- Arrange for one replenisher per station and coordinate their work to avoid overlap.
- Check that carpets, rugs, and bathrooms are clean for subsequent service periods, removing items if they are dirty.
- Organise service areas and keep clean and soiled items separate.
- Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms with excellent service, ensuring compliance with Belmond’s LQA quality and service standards.
- Provide personalised, high-level in-room food and beverage service that supports guest satisfaction and the hotel’s image.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a programme in Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years performing similar duties, preferably in five-star hotels.
- Technical knowledge of HACCP and BPM.
- Basic proficiency in INFOR and Silverware.
- Advanced written and spoken English.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and organise orders.
- Ability to provide personalised service, anticipate guests’ needs, and exceed expectations.
- Proactive participation in training and keeping current with quality and safety standards.
Skills
Experience

Education
Graduate of a programme in Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management, or a related field.
