Belmond’s Copacabana Palace is hiring a Fine Dining Server for its new Italian fine-dining restaurant. The role delivers personalized, LQA-aligned service, executes mise en place, recommends dishes and wines, and coordinates with kitchen, sommellerie, and operational leadership; work hours are 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on a 5x2 schedule.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide sophisticated, personalized service aligned with luxury standards and LQA excellence standards.
- Create memorable guest experiences by anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
- Execute mise en place and service with precision, elegance, and attention to detail.
- Maintain impeccable organization of the dining room and service stations.
- Present and recommend dishes, wines, and dining experiences.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen, sommellerie, and operational leadership.
Qualifications
- Completed secondary education.
- At least 2 years of experience in fine dining restaurants or luxury hospitality.
- Experience in environments guided by high standards of hospitality and luxury excellence.
- Command of service techniques, etiquette, and high-standard guest service.
- Availability to work from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on a 5x2 schedule.
- Fluent English; other languages are an advantage and will be tested.
