Belmond is seeking an Executive Housekeeper in Zona Centro, Guanajuato, to oversee housekeeping operations, guest-room and public-area standards, and internal and external laundry services. The role includes team supervision, administrative and cost controls, safety oversight, and compliance with LQA standards and brand policies.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee housekeeping operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Supervise cleaning of assigned public areas and all guest rooms.
- Inspect all rooms scheduled for arrival each day and provide final approval that they are ready for occupancy.
- Report anomalies in guest rooms and public areas to the relevant departments.
- Maintain strict control of electronic keys and keychains assigned to staff.
- Organize laundry operations to provide quality internal service to Food and Beverage and Spa.
- Supervise external laundry operations.
- Review completion of printed forms and charges or transactions in the HMS system, primarily for laundry.
- Follow up on emails.
- Submit requests for missing supplies, amenities and stationery to the purchasing department via Workday.
- Control room-supply costs and expenses to remain within budget.
- Support cost-saving initiatives.
- Supervise the proper use of cleaning products.
- Promote and oversee safety regulations in the department.
- Enforce LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards, safety protocols and brand policies.
Qualifications
- Advanced English proficiency.
