Belmond is hiring a Door Attendant for Grand Hotel Timeo in Taormina for the 2027 season. The role welcomes arriving guests, coordinates vehicles and parking, relays arrival details to Front Office and Concierge, maintains the entrance and provides assistance and security oversight. The seasonal contract is governed by the C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Federalberghi.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome arriving guests at the main entrance by opening doors, offering umbrellas and providing a warm greeting.
- Coordinate vehicle arrivals, taxis, private transfers and valet parking.
- Immediately communicate arrival details to the Front Office and Concierge teams to facilitate a personalised guest reception.
- Keep the hotel entrance, driveway and portico pristine and uncluttered.
- Provide general assistance and local directions, and oversee security at the property entrance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel door or guest service role.
- Charismatic presence, warm posture and high standards of personal grooming.
- Excellent communication and observational skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
