Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, seeks a Concierge to join its Front of the House team for the 2027 season, reporting to the Head Concierge. The role delivers personalized luxury guest experiences through destination recommendations, bespoke arrangements, and close coordination with hotel departments; the seasonal contract runs from March to November 2027 under the CCNL Settore Turismo, Level 4 (Concierge).
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive recommendations on local attractions, dining, shopping, cultural events, and lesser-known destinations.
- Arrange reservations and services for restaurants, transportation, excursions, spa treatments, and other bespoke guest requests.
- Maintain a network of local businesses, vendors, and service providers to secure preferred access and distinctive guest experiences.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests professionally, discreetly, and efficiently, including unusual or challenging requests.
- Provide accurate, current information about hotel services, facilities, and local events.
- Manage guest mail, messages, and packages carefully and accurately.
- Record guest preferences and special requests to provide personalized service during current and future stays.
- Coordinate with the Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and service.
Qualifications
- Exceptional knowledge of Portofino, the Ligurian coast, and surrounding areas, including local culture, attractions, and lesser-known destinations.
- Established network of reliable local contacts, including restaurants, transportation providers, and tour operators.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and genuinely.
- Proactive, intuitive, and anticipatory approach to guest service, with the ability to consistently exceed expectations.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple complex requests simultaneously.
- Discretion, diplomacy, and ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism.
- Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of other major international languages, such as French, German, Spanish, Russian, or Arabic, is highly valued.

At least 2 years as a Concierge Agent in a luxury hotel or similar high-end hospitality environment.
