Belmond is seeking a Chef de Rang to join the Villa Beatrice team at Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, in Portofino for the 2027 season. Reporting to the Villa Manager, the role oversees Food & Beverage operations, guest service, and assigned Commis de Rang. The seasonal contract runs from March to October 2027 under the C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo, Level 4, Chef de Rang.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee Food & Beverage operations at Villa Beatrice in accordance with company policies, high standards, and procedures.
- Monitor every aspect of the guest experience, from restaurant setup before arrival through service.
- Deliver seamless service and anticipate guests’ needs.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with guests and handle their requests and enquiries.
- Coordinate and supervise the assigned Commis de Rang.
- Contribute to achieving the outlet’s economic targets.

- Ability and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing consistently high service by anticipating and exceeding the expectations of guests and colleagues.

- Fluent in English and Italian; a third language is preferred.
- Previous professional experience in the same role in a luxury environment.
