Belmond’s Grand Hotel Timeo seeks a Chef de Partie for Otto Geleng, its Michelin-starred fine-dining restaurant, to prepare fresh, seasonal, high-quality dishes tailored to each guest. The role includes independently managing a kitchen section, coordinating service, upholding sustainability and HACCP standards, and supporting Commis de Cuisine; seasonal contract for 2027 under the C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Federalberghi.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage a kitchen section independently, such as starters, first courses, main courses, side dishes or pastry, maintaining high standards in line with Belmond’s Food & Beverage Manifesto.
- Prepare and present dishes according to the Executive Chef’s recipes and guidelines, with close attention to aesthetics, detail and taste.
- Work closely with the kitchen brigade to deliver efficient, smooth and timely service while respecting ticket times.
- Promote responsible kitchen practices, including minimizing food waste, in line with the group’s environmental policies and sustainability standards.
- Keep the workstation clean and organized and comply with hygiene, sanitation and HACCP food safety regulations.
- Support the training and onboarding of Commis de Cuisine, fostering collaboration and professional growth in the kitchen.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in luxury hotels or fine-dining restaurants.
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and raw materials, with a strong focus on seasonality and quality.
- Ability to work in a team, flexibility and a problem-solving orientation.
- Strong adherence to procedures and meticulous attention to detail.

At least 2 years in a similar position within luxury hotels or fine-dining restaurants.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 30,000 to EUR 33,000 per annum.
