Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, seeks a Breakfast Manager for the 2027 season to coordinate breakfast service, lead and train the team, uphold service and buffet standards, and ensure guest satisfaction. The seasonal contract runs from March 2027 to November 2027 under C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo, Level 2, with the aim of continued collaboration in subsequent seasons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily breakfast service operations.
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
- Review buffet quality regularly.
- Organize and supervise shifts.
- Assess staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
- Estimate future requirements for goods, utensils and cleaning products.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Manage the restaurant’s image and suggest improvements.
- Train new and current employees in proper customer service practices.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a Breakfast Manager or Breakfast Supervisor in 5-star luxury hotels.
- Strong leadership, charisma and refined communication skills.
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge, including the ability to recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software.
- Ability to handle complex service situations with composure and tact.
- Fluency in Italian and English; a third language is highly valued.
