The Beach Attendant at La Samanna, A Belmond Hotel, Saint Martin provides attentive, personalised beach service, including welcoming guests, taking and serving orders, setting up loungers and tables, and maintaining a clean work area. The role requires previous experience in an upscale restaurant or hotel, fluency in French and English, and flexibility to work overtime when needed.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide each guest with a warm, personalised welcome.
- Know dish ingredients, daily specials and prices.
- Take orders and prepare the required food, beverages and service equipment in accordance with procedures.
- Provide beach service, clear tables, and set up sun loungers and side tables.
- Check that orders meet guests’ expectations and are served within a reasonable time.
- Keep the work area clean and organised throughout service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a beach attendant in an upscale restaurant or hotel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and demonstrate patience.
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
- Fluency in French and English; additional spoken languages are an advantage.
