Belmond is seeking a creative, skilled, and charismatic Bartender for Grand Hotel Timeo in Taormina to prepare high-end cocktails and deliver authentic bar experiences. The role includes guest engagement, bar operations, inventory control, and compliance with safety and hygiene standards; it is a seasonal position for 2027 under the C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Federalberghi.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve classic cocktails, signature mixology creations, spirits, and beverages according to Belmond standards.
• Engage with guests at the bar by offering tailored drink recommendations, sharing knowledge of spirits, and creating a warm atmosphere.
• Maintain bar setup, mise en place, cleanliness, and stock throughout operating hours.
• Manage bar inventory and liquor controls, and minimize beverage waste.
• Ensure full compliance with beverage safety, hygiene, and local alcohol-service regulations.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of classic mixology, contemporary cocktail trends, spirits, and garnishes.
• Charismatic personality, excellent conversational skills, and attention to detail.
• Speed, organization, and efficiency during high-volume service.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a bartender in high-end hotel bars, luxury lounges, or cocktail bars.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 26,000 to EUR 28,000 per annum.
