Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, is seeking a Bartender for Bar Baratta 16 for the 2027 season. The role supports bar operations, prepares and serves drinks, manages stock and equipment, supervises bar staff, and delivers attentive guest service. This seasonal role runs from March to November 2027 under C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo, Level 3, Bartender.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support bar operations through service, setup, mise en place and cleaning in accordance with Belmond policies, standards and procedures.
• Welcome guests to the bar, maintain a friendly atmosphere, build and maintain good guest relationships, and handle requests and enquiries.
• Plan, organize and control bar operations.
• Monitor stock levels, check use-by dates on perishable goods and order replacements as required.
• Supervise bar staff and other bartenders.
• Assist with restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies.
• Report equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the Bar Manager and/or Restaurant Manager.
• Suggest operational improvements.
• Notify the Bar Manager or Manager on Duty whenever a guest is not completely satisfied with their experience.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Interact professionally with guests, take orders and provide recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, bar tools and equipment.
• Monitor and manage inventory of spirits, beer, wine and other bar supplies.
• Comply with food and beverage safety and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Stay informed about current drink trends and classic cocktails.
