Hotel Cipriani, a Belmond Hotel, is hiring a Bar and Pool Supervisor for Bar Gabbiano for the 2027 season. This full-time seasonal role runs from approximately mid-April to early October 2027, with five working days and two days off each week; the Supervisor reports to the Head Bartender and coordinates bar and pool service and operations with the Head Bartender and another Supervisor.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar activities, ensuring compliance with the luxury hotel's standards of excellence.
- Coordinate the bar team during service and support team members' training and professional development.
- Welcome guests and provide personalised, professional service attentive to the needs of an international clientele.
- Work with the bar manager to manage orders, stock and supplies, optimising costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure the correct application of hygiene and health regulations (HACCP) and food safety procedures in the bar.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position at a luxury hotel or high-end cocktail bar.
- Excellent knowledge of bartending and mixology techniques and customer service.
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a collaborative approach.
- Good knowledge of Italian and English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Candidates from outside the EU must be eligible to work in Italy at the time of application.
