The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager and Deputy General Manager in running the restaurant and bar at The Cadogan, leading the team in guest service, coaching, scheduling, reservations and daily operations. The role also oversees guest enquiries, cash handling, service procedures, cleanliness, presentation, compliance and shift handovers.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant General Manager and Deputy General Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant and bar.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and lead the team by example.
- Supervise, coach and support the restaurant team to maintain high service standards.
- Assist with staff scheduling, reservations and smooth daily operations.
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and completion of opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and compliance.
- Complete effective shift handovers.
