The Accounting Intern supports Belmond’s corporate financial team in Fiesole, assisting with payables and receivables, month-end close, financial analysis, reporting, and administrative work. The role is offered on a six-month internship contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Process invoices for payment and reconcile vendor statements.
- Perform assigned general accounting duties, including journal entries and general ledger analysis.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and accruals.
- Participate in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for management.
- Provide administrative support to the finance and accounting team as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled at or recently graduated from an accredited university, pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for the leisure, travel, and tourism industry.
- Fluency in Italian and English.

Currently enrolled at or recently graduated from an accredited university, pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
