About Balmain

The Women's Ready-to-Wear Collection Merchandising Assistant supports collection analysis and development, competitor monitoring, showroom and sales-session preparation, training-book production, and team coordination. This is a full-time, six-month internship starting in February 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative analyses, including Sell In and Sell Out, and qualitative analyses, including end-of-showroom reviews.
- Monitor competitors across pricing, product, communications, and distribution.
- Support collection development in line with strategic objectives.
- Assist with showroom setup and during sales sessions.
- Prepare training books for sales teams.
- Support department coordination, including meeting organization and calendar management.
Qualifications
- Degree-level education at a business school, Bac +4/5.
- Initial experience in the luxury or fashion sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with rigor, adaptability, organization, and dynamism.
- Passion for fashion and a curious mindset; good knowledge of the luxury environment and awareness of accessories and ready-to-wear trends.
- Fluent English.
