Balmain is seeking a Materials and Supplies Stock Assistant Intern in Paris for a six-month, full-time internship starting as soon as possible. The intern will manage fabric and supplies stock, support seasonal sampling and workshop preparation, and coordinate stock and development activities for product launches.
Role & Responsibilities
- Update seasonal sample binders and archives.
- Receive and label supplies and fabrics.
- Liaise with the materials and components purchasing teams.
- Manage stock.
- Conduct end-of-season inventory.
- Maintain and organize the supplies and fabric stockroom.
- Prepare materials and supplies for the workshop cutting team and for external use by various contributors, including product, embroidery and accessories teams.
- Collect BOMs from developers and track their updates.
- Coordinate between the Development teams and Stock to streamline and secure product launches.
Qualifications
- Currently studying at BAC+2/BAC+3 level.
- Initial experience in stock management.
- Team spirit, rigor and strong organizational skills.
- Sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of Excel and Centrics.
- Knowledge of textiles.
