Balmain Beauty seeks Makeup Artist in Querétaro, Mexico. Full-time temporary beauty advisor role combining artistry with prestige retail customer service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational, personalized makeup consultations and demonstrations that educate and delight customers
- Execute makeup applications and styling services with technical precision and creative flair
- Contribute to the creation and execution of in-store beauty events and promotional activities
- Maintain the store's visual merchandising standards and brand presentation to ensure competitive differentiation
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems and complete all transactional processes accurately
- Collaborate with the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences
Qualifications
- Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience preferred; amateur-level experience with demonstrated creative and technical expertise also welcomed
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Proof of right to live and work in Mexico
Skills
Experience
Previous makeup artistry certification or retail beauty experience is desirable, though candidates with strong amateur-level expertise are encouraged to apply. Retail customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
Education
Formal qualification in makeup artistry or cosmetology preferred; not required if applicant demonstrates equivalent creative and technical capability through portfolio or interview assessment.
