Balmain Beauty seeks Beauty Advisor in Mexico City. Full-time temporary makeup artist role combining artistry, customer service, and visual merchandising excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Apply makeup artistry skills to provide personalized consultations and transformations for customers during in-store interactions
- Participate in the planning and execution of in-store events and promotional activities to drive customer engagement
- Maintain and exceed visual merchandising standards to ensure the retail environment remains competitive and visually compelling
- Deliver inspirational and authentic customer service whilst working in a high-paced retail environment
- Operate retail point-of-sale software and manage transactions accurately and efficiently
- Work flexibly across retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events as required
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in makeup application techniques and creative design (formal certification or amateur-level experience accepted)
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service consistently
- Capability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience operating retail point-of-sale software systems
- Legal proof of right to live and work in Mexico
Skills
Experience
While formal certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience is preferred, applicants with amateur-level creative and technical expertise are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with retail point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
Education
No specific educational qualification is required; makeup artistry certification is desirable but not mandatory.
