Balmain Beauty Beauty Advisor role at Myer Sydney City, part-time (15 hours). Estée Lauder Companies is seeking a skilled makeup artist for in-store customer consultations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, inspirational makeup services and consultations that educate and delight customers
- Provide authentic, high-caliber customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
- Collaborate with the in-store team to execute events and campaigns that drive engagement and sales impact
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the Balmain Beauty counter stands out competitively
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately
- Support inventory management and product knowledge maintenance
Qualifications
- Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience (preferred but not required)
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Strong creative and technical expertise in makeup application
- Ability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Proof of right to live and work in Australia

Experience
While certification in makeup artistry and/or previous retail makeup experience is desirable, applicants with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise are welcome to apply.
Education
Makeup artistry qualification or equivalent professional training preferred but not required.
