Balmain is recruiting an Accessories Collection Merchandising Assistant for a six-month, full-time internship starting in February 2027. The role supports collection analyses and development, competitor monitoring, showroom and sales-session preparation, sales-team training materials, and department coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative analyses, including sell-in and sell-out, and qualitative analyses, including end-of-showroom reviews.
- Monitor competitors across pricing, products, communications, and distribution.
- Support collection development in line with strategic objectives.
- Assist with showroom setup and sales sessions.
- Prepare training books for sales teams.
- Support department coordination, including meeting organization and calendar management.
Qualifications
- Education equivalent to a business school degree at Bac+4/5 level.
- Initial experience in the luxury or fashion sector.
- Fluent English.
- Strong interpersonal skills; rigor, adaptability, organization, and dynamism.
- Passion, curiosity, good knowledge of the luxury environment, and awareness of accessories and ready-to-wear trends.
