The Visual Merchandising Intern supports Balenciaga’s EMEA Visual Merchandising team in Paris with boutique visual merchandising, prop orders, planning, installations, showroom organization, scheduling and reporting. The role also assists with store and showroom setups and monthly display checks across retail and wholesale; it is a six-month internship beginning in November 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the EMEA Visual Merchandising Manager on visual merchandising tasks and department organization.
- Support the EMEA Visual Merchandising team with prop orders, visual merchandising planning and installations, showroom organization, schedule management, and reporting.
- Assist the EMEA Visual Merchandising team with setups in stores and showrooms as required.
- Participate in visual merchandising calls and training sessions to stay current on new strategies and techniques.
- Conduct monthly display checks across the retail and wholesale network.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in fashion and visual merchandising.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive approach and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
- Previous experience or interest in visual merchandising, retail, or design is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
