Balenciaga — Visual Merchandising Intern in Paris. Internship supporting HQ VM for retail and wholesale displays and showroom installations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare visual merchandising materials and presentation assets for regional VM teams.
- Design and format VM guidelines, templates and documentation for global rollout.
- Monitor and report monthly on in-store and wholesale display compliance across the network.
- Support development of display fixtures and tools; coordinate ordering and delivery logistics.
- Organise and maintain the VM team calendar: meetings, store visits, showroom installs and VM shoots.
- Participate on the salesfloor: implement collection launch displays and Fashion Week window changes in Paris boutiques.
- Assist with showroom installations and preparation for presentations.
- Compile visit reports and in-store test documentation; conduct field competitive benchmarking.
Qualifications
- Current enrolment in or recent graduate of a university, business school, fashion school or architecture programme.
- Fluent in French and English (bilingual).
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office and Adobe design tools; proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with 3D software for display mock-ups is a plus.
- Strong visual sensitivity, a refined aesthetic sense and product awareness.
- Highly organised, rigorous, discreet, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and comfortable working across HQ and retail environments.

Experience
Internship-level role. Prior internships or practical experience in visual merchandising, retail operations, showroom coordination or a related creative/retail environment are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
University degree or current enrolment in business school, fashion school, architecture or related discipline.
