Balenciaga seeks a Temporary Associate Store Director in Dallas to lead NorthPark store operations, drive sales and enhance client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Director with daily store leadership, ensuring floor coverage, visual merchandising, display standards, client service and operational compliance.
- Analyse sales and operational results (daily, weekly, monthly), set up regular assessments and translate findings into actionable plans.
- Report relevant commercial and operational information to headquarters and cascade key insights to the in-store team.
- Lead and support Department Managers to achieve quantitative and qualitative KPIs; implement and follow up on HQ and Store action plans.
- Create and sustain a positive, high-performing work environment; conduct morning briefs, one-to-one meetings and performance follow-ups.
- Own client experience and clienteling: supervise sales interactions, monitor CEE and NPS, develop loyalty strategies for clients ranging from new customers to VIC/VVICs.
- Manage store processes to ensure compliance with legal, safety, security, sustainability and HR guidelines; maintain store image to Balenciaga standards.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including opening/closing procedures, inventory and warehouse stock management, petty cash and reconciliation.
- Process payroll as directed, maintain staff schedules and ensure adherence to attendance and punctuality standards.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and protect the company’s bottom line, including loss prevention and cost-conscious decision making.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years' experience in a managerial retail role with responsibility for at least 10 direct or indirect reports.
- Proven track record of significant sales performance within the luxury retail sector.
- Demonstrated ability to set goals, delegate, and follow up to deliver measurable commercial results.
- High sensitivity to client experience, loyalty programmes and relationship-building with high-value clients.
- Strong organisational precision, adaptability, interpersonal listening skills and professional curiosity.
- High availability and responsiveness required for peak retail hours and events.
- Fashion and product sensitivity with keen commercial awareness; strong digital literacy.
Skills
Experience
At least three years in a retail managerial position with responsibility for a team of ten or more, including demonstrated luxury sales performance and experience leading department managers to achieve KPIs.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, fashion or a related field preferred.
