Balenciaga seeks a Sustainability Impact Intern in Paris to coordinate environmental reporting, data analysis, and engagement programmes aligned with the House's sustainability roadmap.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of mandatory annual environmental reports, including Kering environmental reporting covering internal operations and supply chain data; collaborate with finance controlling teams to gather supporting documentation and ensure audit readiness
  • Produce tailored reports and data analyses to identify and explain business and sustainability trends, supporting the brand's decarbonization roadmap
  • Support the preparation and submission of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) declarations for products and packaging
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives related to Balenciaga events, including data collection and reporting to the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode
  • Support the design and delivery of training sessions for retail teams focusing on store operations and sustainability practices; contribute to in-store sustainability projects aligned with brand environmental goals
  • Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives in collaboration with associative and institutional partners
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating internal sustainability-related events including podcasts, awareness sessions, onboarding inductions, Climate Fresks, and Sustainability Days; facilitate international rollouts in partnership with regional teams

Qualifications

  • Master's degree combining management and Sustainable Development or CSR
  • Robust awareness of sustainability concepts and impacts specific to the fashion industry
  • Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
  • First internship experience in a consulting firm or corporate environment with data analysis and/or sustainability specialization
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French or Italian preferred
