Balenciaga seeks a Sustainability Compliance and Content Intern in Paris to support material verification, supplier coordination, and sustainability communications within the Kering group.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Liaise with suppliers to coordinate collection of documentation and information regarding sustainable materials and certifications
  • Integrate and train suppliers in the data collection process to ensure compliance with Kering standards
  • Collect data and verify environmental declarations to align with established sustainability standards and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor tracking progress and maintain all related data, information, and records with precision and rigour
  • Coordinate delivery of sustainability information to internal and external partners across cross-functional teams
  • Support the creation of sustainability communication content for website, social media, internal channels, and ad hoc documents
  • Coordinate cross-functional information on sustainable features of materials and address regulatory matters

Qualifications

  • Engineering or Management Graduate, or Sustainability Master's degree in a relevant field (Process excellence, Regulatory management, Quality, Operations management, or CSR/Sustainability)
  • Fluent in Italian and English with excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with ability to deliver high-quality, data-supported outcomes
  • Knowledge of textiles and materials certification standards and related processes
  • Strong awareness of sustainability concepts and impacts specific to the fashion industry
  • Project management skills with excellent analytical, synthesis, and precision capabilities

Experience

A first internship in the fashion or textile industry, or from a consulting company, particularly in quality, product compliance, sustainability, or procurement. Experience in communication is advantageous.
