Balenciaga Demand Planning Intern in Paris – Support retail forecasting, inventory optimization, and S&OP reporting in luxury fashion operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and adjust sales forecasts for existing products in collaboration with the Merchandising team on a dedicated product scope
- Monitor forecast accuracy and analyze discrepancies against initial assumptions
- Deliver top-line analysis of stock and forecasts for assigned categories with actionable recommendations
- Maintain critical planning parameters including production lead times, tool stock, safety stock levels, and product substitutions
- Propose reorder requirements for existing products based on actual sales performance and future demand forecasts
- Generate alerts on stock shortages and identify overstock risks at the global warehouse level
- Prepare and distribute weekly sales reports and monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) materials to key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Currently in final year of degree program with supply chain, operations, or related discipline preferred
- Thorough proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions and pivot tables
- Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written)
- Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable experience in supply chain planning or fast-growing industry environment is advantageous

Ideally, first experience in supply chain planning within a fast-growing or luxury sector. International work experience is required.
Education
Currently enrolled in or completing a degree program; supply chain, operations, business, or related discipline preferred.
