Balenciaga — Paris: Supply & Distribution Planner (Intern). Support central warehouse deliveries and global distribution; reporting with Excel and Power BI.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze delivery plans relative to product launch dates and central merchandising priorities to ensure on‑time availability.
- Lead weekly operational meetings with Production to flag deviations, communicate priorities, and challenge lead times and quantities.
- Track inbound deliveries and receipts to the central warehouse until stock is available for distribution.
- Maintain proactive, anticipatory communication with central Merchandising on delivery status, delays and mitigation opportunities.
- Allocate central warehouse inventory to regions in line with product strategy to maximise Maison performance.
- Assess and fulfil ad‑hoc stock requests from regions or stores from central inventory, prioritising high‑impact demands.
- Coordinate stock transfers and requirements linked to brand events and local activations.
- Develop and maintain clear, structured distribution reporting and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross‑functional weekly reviews with Supply Chain and Merchandising and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business school or engineering programme (undergraduate or graduate).
- Previous internship or first professional experience in supply chain, logistics, planning or a related function.
- Highly organized, autonomous and rigorous with strong analytical aptitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Advanced English; Italian is a plus.
