Balenciaga Store Director position in Shenzhen Bay MixC. Lead boutique operations, sales strategy, and team development in luxury retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, execute, and monitor the store action plan to achieve sales targets and KPIs, including quantitative and qualitative goals with daily, weekly, and monthly assessments
  • Monitor local market trends, competition, and fashion developments; integrate insights into store strategy and share with team
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities; communicate feedback and performance reporting to headquarters and store team
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment consistent with Balenciaga brand values and behaviors
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in partnership with HR and Regional leadership; manage team onboarding and professional development
  • Coach direct reports regularly; provide structured feedback and conduct individual appraisals at least twice annually
  • Embody Balenciaga brand codes and promote brand culture internally and externally as a brand ambassador
  • Ensure Balenciaga signature client experience is consistent with corporate standards, visual guidelines, and service values
  • Lead by example; develop clienteling mindset and client loyalty and retention from beginners to VIP clients
  • Oversee inventory, warehouse stock, and product security; ensure packaging and positioning comply with asset protection standards
  • Execute Retail Excellence guidelines; supervise inventory activities and report discrepancies to merchandising
  • Challenge and improve current processes to sustain growth while ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
  • Handle administration, accounting responsibilities, and ensure compliance with legal, safety, security, sustainability, and HR guidelines

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of successful managerial experience in the luxury retail industry
  • Minimum 10 people management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business results and achieve sales targets
  • Strong clienteling and VIP engagement capability
  • Brand ambassador mindset with deep understanding of luxury retail excellence
  • Proficiency in retail operations, inventory management, and store administration
