Balenciaga seeks a Stock Manager in Toronto to oversee inventory, operations, and team management across retail stockroom functions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee policies and procedures in compliance with Balenciaga's Operations Manual and Global Stockroom Guidelines, including daily shipping and receiving operations
- Manage inventory discrepancies and reconciliations, performing monthly store reconciliations and cycle counts
- Administer repair management in coordination with in-store customer service representatives, processing repairs weekly and maintaining timely follow-up
- Maintain and organize stockroom operations, proactively addressing loss prevention and sales support concerns
- Prepare and organize annual inventory audits in accordance with Kering group guidelines
- Monitor supply levels including shipping, stationery, and packaging materials; reorder as necessary to maintain budget alignment
- Execute opening and closing procedures according to Balenciaga and Kering operational standards
- Coordinate facility maintenance and management activities including HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire monitoring, elevator maintenance, and pest control with the corporate team
- Submit all required daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports including reconciliations and packaging documentation
- Provide support to the sales floor as directed by management and undertake additional projects as assigned
Qualifications
- 6+ years of operational experience within luxury retail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Processing
- Experience with inventory management systems such as JDA
- Ability to lift and move bulk merchandise regularly
- Proven track record of driving operational results
- Demonstrated capacity to manage, coach, and develop team members
Skills
Experience
6+ years of operational experience within luxury retail, with demonstrated success in stockroom management, inventory control, and team leadership within a fast-paced luxury environment
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management or operational certifications are advantageous
