Role & Responsibilities

  • Enforce Balenciaga’s Operations Manual and Global Stockroom Guidelines to ensure compliant store stockroom procedures.
  • Manage daily shipping and receiving operations, including timely receipt, inspection and staging of merchandise.
  • Conduct cycle counts and complete monthly store reconciliations to resolve inventory discrepancies and negatives.
  • Oversee repairs workflow: coordinate with CSR where applicable, process repairs timely, and manage weekly outbound shipments and follow-ups.
  • Maintain and organize back‑of‑house (HOH) areas to minimise loss prevention and sales impact; prepare annual inventory per Kering guidelines.
  • Control supplies and costs: maintain packaging, shipping and stationery stock and align expenditure with budget targets.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures in accordance with Balenciaga/Kering requirements and coordinate facilities maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pest control, elevators, fire monitoring) with corporate teams.
  • Ensure submission of required daily, weekly and monthly reports (reconciliation, packaging, inventory reports).
  • Support the sales floor and contribute to ad hoc projects as directed by store management; coach and develop stockroom team members to drive performance.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of operational experience within luxury retail, with demonstrated results in inventory control and stockroom leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage, coach and develop a small team to achieve operational KPIs.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen with an ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with a track record of resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Physical ability to lift and move bulk merchandise when required.
  • Clear, professional communication skills for frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience

Minimum six years of operational experience in luxury retail, including direct responsibility for inventory management, shipping/receiving, and team supervision.

Education
