Balenciaga Stock Manager position in McLean, VA. Oversee inventory, shipping, and back-of-house operations at Tysons Corner boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee policies and procedures according to Balenciaga's Operations Manual and Global Stockroom Guidelines
  • Manage daily shipping and receiving operations efficiently
  • Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly
  • Receive merchandise and process incoming stock
  • Complete monthly store reconciliation
  • Partner with Customer Service Representatives on repair management when applicable
  • Handle repairs in a timely manner and communicate concerns appropriately
  • Ship repairs weekly and follow up as needed
  • Perform cycle counts and monitor inventory levels
  • Monitor and resolve negative inventory in a timely manner to prevent discrepancies
  • Maintain and organize back-of-house; proactively work to prevent loss prevention and sales issues
  • Prepare and organize annual inventory according to Kering guidelines
  • Ensure costs align with budget
  • Order supplies (shipping, stationery, packaging, etc.) and maintain adequate inventory
  • Perform opening and closing procedures according to Balenciaga and Kering guidelines
  • Coordinate HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire monitoring, elevator maintenance, pest control, and store planning updates with corporate team
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reporting including reconciliation and packaging documentation
  • Support the sales floor as needed
  • Execute additional projects as directed by management

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of operational experience within luxury retail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
  • Experience with JDA or comparable inventory management systems
  • Ability to lift and move bulk merchandise
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Talent for managing, coaching, and developing a team
  • Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
  • Proven ability to drive results
  • Ability to react quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
