Balenciaga Stock Associate at Saks New York | $20–$23/hr | Inventory & operations management role in luxury retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee shipping and receiving operations; ensure goods are processed accurately and delivered in a timely manner
- Process inter-store transfers correctly and manage all associated documentation
- Maintain and replenish store supplies including shopping bags, sales receipts, tissue paper, and associated materials
- Process, track, and coordinate repairs in partnership with retail management
- Organize and maintain stock accessibility; check in new merchandise and arrange back stock to facilitate team efficiency
- Execute monthly cycle counts in partnership with management and sales team to ensure accurate inventory levels
- Prepare, implement, and manage full inventory cycles in coordination with management and Inventory Control
- Complete monthly store reconciliation and negative on-hand reports with accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with visual display and merchandising implementation according to company standards
- Communicate visual merchandising standards and corporate guidelines to the team
- Support the sales floor as needed and complete additional projects as directed by management
- Oversee daily cleaning and maintenance of interior and exterior store spaces
- Maintain highest standards for fixtures, shelving, carpeting, lighting, and supply management
- Identify and communicate maintenance, landscaping, and repair requirements
- Oversee all maintenance and repair calls to ensure compliance with company quality standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of operational experience within luxury retail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word Processing
- Experience with inventory management systems such as JDA
- Ability to lift and move bulk merchandise
- Proven ability to drive measurable results
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Demonstrated talent for managing, coaching, and developing team members

Experience
3+ years of operational experience within luxury retail, with demonstrated proficiency in inventory management systems and back-of-house operations. Proven track record of driving results in fast-paced retail environments and managing cross-functional teams.
