Balenciaga Stock Associate at Saks New York | $20–$23/hr | Inventory & operations management role in luxury retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee shipping and receiving operations; ensure goods are processed accurately and delivered in a timely manner
  • Process inter-store transfers correctly and manage all associated documentation
  • Maintain and replenish store supplies including shopping bags, sales receipts, tissue paper, and associated materials
  • Process, track, and coordinate repairs in partnership with retail management
  • Organize and maintain stock accessibility; check in new merchandise and arrange back stock to facilitate team efficiency
  • Execute monthly cycle counts in partnership with management and sales team to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Prepare, implement, and manage full inventory cycles in coordination with management and Inventory Control
  • Complete monthly store reconciliation and negative on-hand reports with accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist with visual display and merchandising implementation according to company standards
  • Communicate visual merchandising standards and corporate guidelines to the team
  • Support the sales floor as needed and complete additional projects as directed by management
  • Oversee daily cleaning and maintenance of interior and exterior store spaces
  • Maintain highest standards for fixtures, shelving, carpeting, lighting, and supply management
  • Identify and communicate maintenance, landscaping, and repair requirements
  • Oversee all maintenance and repair calls to ensure compliance with company quality standards

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of operational experience within luxury retail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word Processing
  • Experience with inventory management systems such as JDA
  • Ability to lift and move bulk merchandise
  • Proven ability to drive measurable results
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Demonstrated talent for managing, coaching, and developing team members
