Balenciaga Stock Associate — East Rutherford, NJ. Hourly $19–$21. Manage shipping, inventory and back‑of‑house operations at American Dream Mall.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all shipping and receiving operations to ensure goods are received, processed and dispatched accurately and on schedule.
- Manage inter-store transfers and coordinate repairs — process, ship and track repair work in partnership with retail management.
- Maintain and replenish store supplies (shopping bags, receipts, tissue paper and other materials) to required inventory levels.
- Organize, check in and maintain back stock to maximise accessibility and support the sales floor.
- Partner with store management and Inventory Control to execute monthly cycle counts, reconcile inventory and reduce negative on‑hand figures.
- Support implementation of visual merchandising directives and communicate visual standards to the store team.
- Assist the sales floor and take on ad-hoc projects as directed by management.
- Oversee daily store maintenance, fixtures and equipment upkeep; coordinate maintenance and repair calls to meet company standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of operational experience within luxury retail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Microsoft Excel and word-processing skills; experience with JDA or equivalent retail systems.
- Proven ability to manage, coach and develop store team members.
- Strong organizational skills, commercial awareness and ability to execute inventory controls and cycle counts.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Capacity to lift and move bulk merchandise safely.
Skills
Experience
At least three years of hands-on operational experience in a luxury retail environment, including stockroom management, inventory reconciliation and use of retail inventory systems such as JDA. Demonstrated track record of driving results, supervising or mentoring staff, and executing loss-prevention procedures is required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in retail operations, logistics or supply chain is a plus.
