Balenciaga seeks a Social Media Project Manager for Western Europe to oversee luxury fashion social media strategy, activation execution, and content optimization across all major platforms.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and strengthen Balenciaga's presence across Western social media platforms, identifying opportunities on emerging channels and optimizing platform utilization
  • Drive flawless execution of social media activations through meticulous planning, cross-functional coordination with marketing stakeholders, and strategic alignment
  • Develop and manage weekly social communication plans for senior management and the Artistic Director's dedicated social platforms
  • Produce and deliver comprehensive performance reports, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations for continuous optimization
  • Lead development and production of augmented reality experiences with strong merchandising acumen, partnering with Image and Media teams
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of Balenciaga fashion show livestreams across Western and Eastern social platforms, Balenciaga.com, and Balenciaga.cn
  • Collaborate with the Image team to create and adapt creative assets for social media and e-retail deployment across fashion shows, content productions, VIP activations, and brand moments
  • Monitor competitor activity, platform innovations, and social media trends to identify strategic opportunities and refine performance strategies
  • Manage and monitor social media project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar social media role within fashion, luxury, or creative/entertainment sectors
  • International work experience required
  • Expert-level knowledge of Western social media platforms and their usage patterns
  • Proficiency in social media platform management and Adobe Photoshop
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience working within creative environments with creative talents
  • Strong analytical capability to transform performance data into strategic recommendations
