The Social Media Intern supports Balenciaga’s Digital Department and Social Media Project Manager with editorial planning, APAC campaigns, platform monitoring, creator activations, competitive analysis, and reporting. The role is an internship beginning in January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track the Maison’s editorial calendar with local teams in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand.
- Support the planning and execution of regional social media campaigns, ensuring timely asset delivery, content approvals, and launch readiness across markets.
- Organize and distribute content packages for local teams, including managing assets, organizing servers, and preparing materials.
- Support collaboration between headquarters teams and local markets to align campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor and maintain an overview of APAC social media activities across regional platforms: WeChat, RED, Weibo, and Douyin in China; LINE in Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand; and KakaoTalk in Korea.
- Assist with creator and influencer activations, from talent research and benchmarking to campaign tracking and performance recaps.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and social media trend analysis across the APAC digital landscape, focusing on luxury, fashion, and emerging platform developments.
- Assist with regular reports, presentations, and performance analyses, providing insights on campaign results, market trends, and content performance.
- Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives related to social media innovation, platform development, and regional digital marketing activities.
