The Social Media Intern supports Balenciaga’s Digital Department in Paris, working closely with the Social Media Project Manager on Western editorial planning, campaigns, social content and creator activations. The role also contributes to cross-market coordination, trend analysis, reporting and regional digital initiatives; the position is scheduled to begin in January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and follow up on Balenciaga’s editorial calendar across Western platforms.
- Support the planning and execution of Western social media campaigns, content approvals and launch readiness across markets.
- Assist in drafting English-language social media copy for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, and coordinate with the copywriter.
- Support collaboration between headquarters teams and local markets to align campaign objectives and timelines.
- Monitor Western social media activity, including comment moderation.
- Assist with creator and influencer activations, from talent research and benchmarking to campaign tracking and performance recaps.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and social media trend analysis across Western digital platforms, focusing on luxury, fashion and emerging platform developments.
- Assist with regular reports, presentations and performance analyses on campaign results, market trends and content performance.
- Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives related to social media innovation, platform development and regional digital marketing activities.
