Balenciaga in Paris seeks a Shoes Collection Coordination Intern (6-month paid internship) to support footwear development and prototype management.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate information flow between the Shoe Studio, Development teams and other product categories to ensure alignment across the collection.
  • Maintain and update collection tracking tools, documentation and the Studio's material archives.
  • Monitor prototype launches and manage operational follow-up of samples (receiving, counting, unpacking and logging).
  • Coordinate logistics for collection shipments and support sample movements between internal and external partners.
  • Organize resources and schedules to enable successful project execution and react to last-minute requests.
  • Collaborate with e-commerce and retail training teams to support product roll-out and internal enablement.
  • Research and track material development, colors and components specific to footwear collections.
  • Continuously improve work tools and formalize processes to enhance departmental efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Reactive, rigorous and creative with strong organizational skills and flexibility under tight deadlines.
  • Good understanding of the luxury fashion industry, preferably with an interest in footwear.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or Italian is a strong advantage.
  • Available for a 6-month paid internship and able to start in April 2026.

Experience

Internship-level role; prior internship or coursework in fashion product development, footwear, or merchandising is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrated interest in footwear and hands-on coordination experience will be valued.

Education

Enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (fashion design, product development, industrial design, merchandising or equivalent).
