Balenciaga Paris seeks experienced Senior Men's RTW Designer to lead menswear collection development under the Creative Director.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth design research in men's tailoring aligned with creative direction briefs
- Develop and present creative proposals through vintage references, 3D models, and sketches, tracking each project from conception through completion within established deadlines
- Recommend material selections that align with creative briefs while adhering to allocated product category development budgets
- Oversee prototype and pre-collection realization, ensuring patternmakers' validation meets industrialization timelines and expected quality standards
- Launch prototypes with internal and external suppliers
- Prepare presentation panels and PDFs for fittings and manage associated administrative tasks
- Attend fittings and actively participate in product standardization processes
- Manage design team members, including junior designers, assistant designers, and interns as required
- Contribute to studio maintenance and collaborative operations
Qualifications
- Degree from a recognized fashion or design school
- Minimum 6–8 years of men's ready-to-wear design experience at an established luxury house
- Demonstrated sensitivity for product development with comprehensive knowledge of garment construction, proportions, and material properties
- Strong contemporary and fashion culture foundation
- Proven ability to translate creative vision into desirable and commercially relevant products
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
- Fluent English proficiency for international contexts
- Organized, rigorous, and autonomous working approach
- Strong collaborative skills and excellent relationships with creative teams and development partners

Minimum 6–8 years of men's ready-to-wear design experience at an established luxury fashion house, with demonstrated proficiency in translating creative direction into commercially viable, technically excellent collections.
Education
Degree from a recognized fashion or design school.
