Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of two Collection Merchandisers to deliver coherent, commercially successful women’s leather-goods collections.
  • Define the collection brief in line with brand strategy and commercial objectives, and oversee end-to-end collection construction.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, development, production, retail and wholesale teams to ensure artistic vision translates to marketable product and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor product lifecycle and sell-through performance; analyse sell-in, sell-out and margin data to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Conduct 360° benchmarking of the luxury market including product, pricing, trends and customer behaviours to inform assortment decisions.
  • Define and pilot global pricing strategy and margin targets; monitor cost evolution during development and recommend cost-optimisation measures.
  • Participate in key commercial stages such as showrooms and collection presentations and follow product validation through production to store launch.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years’ experience in collection merchandising, ideally within luxury leather goods or accessories.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the global luxury market and consumer behaviours.
  • Proven team management experience with ability to inspire, structure and develop talent.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Advanced proficiency in Pack Office (Excel, Powerpoint); experience with PLM is a plus.

Experience

At least 5 years of progressive experience in collection merchandising within the luxury sector, with direct exposure to leather goods or accessories and prior responsibility for commercial analysis, pricing and team leadership.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Product Management or a related discipline preferred.
