Balenciaga seeks Senior Client Ambassador in Milan flagship store. Lead luxury retail excellence, build client portfolios, and drive sales through consultative engagement.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive individual sales objectives and store performance by establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and styling expert for every client
  • Master the art of sophisticated client conversation, engaging with curiosity and subtlety to understand lifestyle, preferences, and intentions
  • Curate precise product selections and propose complementary pieces with credibility and ease
  • Enrich client interactions by referencing art, culture, design, gastronomy, and collecting to build a richer dialogue
  • Identify client cues and opportunities, naturally introducing relevant pieces and exclusive items from the collection
  • Build and nurture a strong, diverse client portfolio through consistent, thoughtful, and personalized engagement
  • Act as a clienteling role model within the team, sharing best practices and elevating collective standards
  • Contribute actively to the store's clienteling strategy, supporting client acquisition, retention, and reactivation
  • Represent the Maison both within the boutique and at private appointments and external events
  • Ensure operational excellence and support key store responsibilities including opening and closing procedures

Qualifications

  • Solid and proven experience in luxury retail, ideally within high fashion, couture, or luxury maisons with a strong clienteling culture
  • Successful track record in client portfolio development, exceptional customer retention, and clienteling-driven sales performance
  • Strong sense of observation and emotional intelligence with cultural awareness and agility in conversation
  • Natural leadership and coaching mindset, able to elevate team standards through authentic engagement practices
  • Fluent in Italian and English; mastery of a third language is a strong asset
