The Sales Merchandising Intern supports Balenciaga’s global team with the Shoes, Men's, Women's and Children's collections, including sales reporting, purchasing and performance analyses, showroom preparation, product launches, competitor monitoring and visual merchandising. This is a final-year internship starting in January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the global Sales Merchandising team with the day-to-day monitoring and management of the Shoes, Men's, Women's and Children's collections.
- Update weekly sales reports and store offer matrices.
- Conduct analyses to support purchasing decisions and network performance management.
- Carry out a range of ad hoc qualitative and quantitative studies.
- Support product launches.
- Prepare the showroom through analyses, participation in recommendations, and consolidation of buyers' needs and qualitative feedback.
- Monitor competitors' product offerings, price positioning and special focuses.
- Contribute to the development of visual merchandising pushes.
Qualifications
- Seeking a final-year internship.
- Significant initial experience in an analytical role.
- Strong affinity with fashion and luxury.
- Comfortable working with quantitative data and rigorous in its handling.
- Analytical mindset and strong organizational skills.
- Autonomous, with a strong sense of initiative, enthusiasm and good interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English is essential.
- Very good Excel skills and proficiency in the rest of the Office suite.
