Balenciaga in Paris seeks a Shoes Sales Merchandiser Intern to support sales analysis, product launches and showroom preparation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Update weekly sales reports and maintain in‑store assortment matrices for Shoes, Men’s, Women’s and Children’s collections.
- Deliver quantitative analyses to inform purchasing decisions and monitor network performance.
- Conduct ad‑hoc qualitative and quantitative studies to support business recommendations.
- Provide operational support for product launches, including performance tracking and rollout follow‑up.
- Prepare showroom materials: perform analyses, contribute to recommendations and consolidate buyer feedback and needs.
- Perform competitive intelligence on product assortments, price positioning and special initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of visual merchandising push plans in coordination with cross‑functional partners.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a final‑year undergraduate or master’s programme (business, fashion management, merchandising, statistics, economics or related field) seeking an end‑of‑studies internship.
- At least one significant prior analytical internship or professional experience, preferably within fashion or retail.
- Strong affinity for fashion and the luxury sector with a commercial mindset.
- High numerical literacy and rigor with quantitative data.
- Analytical thinker with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Autonomous, proactive, enthusiastic and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent English is required.
- Very strong proficiency in Excel and good command of the Microsoft Office suite.
