The Sales Associate is an entry-level store front-of-house role, contributing to sales targets and building a client portfolio while representing Balenciaga’s values. The role combines tailored client service and omnichannel engagement with visual merchandising, stock and cash desk operations, deliveries, and teamwork.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to store quantitative and qualitative targets, including KPIs.
  • Handle client requests and after-sales situations with support from the Management Team.
  • Work closely with the stock team to ensure product availability and fulfil client requests.
  • Stay informed about the market, fashion trends and business environment.
  • Welcome clients, provide tailored advice, listen to their expectations and respond to their requests.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of the omnichannel client journey under the supervision of the Management Team.
  • Present Balenciaga’s universe and signature, explaining collections and inspirations through storytelling when appropriate.
  • Maintain the display and organization of all areas in line with visual merchandising standards.
  • Follow product presentation guidelines.
  • Promote client satisfaction by consistently delivering Balenciaga’s service, image and values.
  • Create and update client portfolios and follow up through the Luce app.
  • Engage clients from their welcome through their departure.
  • Apply headquarters guidelines for the client journey and loyalty program.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all conduct, including communication and teamwork.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders through a service-oriented, collaborative, available and versatile approach.
  • Support colleagues to facilitate teamwork, deliver the client experience and achieve goals.
  • Participate in achieving sustainability goals.
  • Contribute to front- and back-of-house operations, including stock control and inventories.
  • Execute Retail Excellence processes with guidance from the Management Team.
  • Process client transactions at the cash desk, including in-store, distant sales and M-store transactions.
  • Promote and execute omnichannel services under the supervision of the Management Team.
  • Prepare and organize client deliveries and shipments.
